Wideopen Women’s Wednesday was created with the aim of giving women in mountain biking more coverage. I believe everyone has a story, and through sharing experiences; the aim is to encourage more women to participate, and to celebrate the amazing women involved in the sport. The feature has been running since September 2013, and includes an interview as well as news, events and competitions.
Each week features an interview with a women in the sport, as well as summing up the week in women’s MTB, local, national and beyond. The aim is to provide the best content in women’s MTB, and give women the opportunity to share their story. It is a project I approached the editor, Jamie about, and he was more than happy to run it on Wideopen online.
